The ambassador explained that Chinese investments in the various Egyptian sectors amounted to about $223 million last year, nearly doubling from 2020.
He revealed that those investments included working on projects in the Administrative Capital and the Tenth of Ramadan City, noting that cooperation in the Suez Canal region contributed to creating more than 40,000 jobs in Egypt.
For his part, the director of the Chinese company expressed his thanks and appreciation for the governor’s reception and his aspiration for fruitful cooperation with the governorate through the implementation of joint projects, noting that the company’s investments in Egypt exceed one billion dollars, and the company has previously implemented a number of giant projects in the field of electricity and solar energy in the governorates of Cairo and Aswan . ,
